Good vid. Andis has come out with a 0 guard that is looks exactly the same as the Wahl 0, as well as a new #1 also a 0.5(between 0 and 1 for some reason) and 1.5. All purple Nano guards. I have them.

The dbl magnetic andis cut slightly longer imo because the andis have more throw on the lever the 0 guard is not required to skip to a 1 guard. If you do use it you can just use it closed and flick into a 1 closed.

Hello! I have a question about this subject. So if i have a JRL onyx that cuts with the lever open 3.5mm does that mean when i put on a 1 guard 3.mm with the lever open i have to add 3.5mm on top of that? Or are those measurements already included

fking thanks.I use a kippie fuel guards and had 0.5 and 1.5 premium wahl. I noticed something is off when blend had to do more lever work than i expected. always had to close lever on kippie and open on

You are right they do not cut the same length, and I have tried both of them, and I am not a barber, and I prefer the one with the shorter teeth.

The magnetic guard has a short teeth 0 as well as the long teeth 0 . I have both of them and use them at different times.

I don’t think you’re accounting for the placement of the cutting blade onto the guard - by doing this, you’ll have a better reference and comparison of the actual comb length and comb cutting depth.
