That's a very good point. However, since all the sheetmetal is here and the chassis is in another state, I don't have much choice. However, you have made me aware of the fact that I need to make sure I find some control points and use a level when I am fitting everything here and if necessary, I will just have to shim the cab on the other end to match the fit or level that I have on this end. Thanks!

looks very good so far!.. i just picked up a 51 chevy pictup that im going to try an make a really nice hot rod but may just make a really nice rat rod custom... i can find anorther videos of your build, but i would like to see where your at? an how you got there?

Give up fitting your doors and sheetmetal until you have it bolted square on your frame. Your gonna fight it until you do. Im a body guy and build for a living just a heads up

I’ve heard these coe’s are difficult to work on the engine. Have you considered a forward tilt cab? I know all coe fire engines have the tilt cab. Just saying...

Was this a all stock rebuild . What wiring harness dos you use? I have a 54 Chevy Coe and I am looking for a harness from 6 v to 12 v has been done . My wire is so brittle.... You look at it .. It crumbles. I don't know what wire, size, nothing about wire .
