China Slams UN Report on Xinjiang Abuses

China is slamming a United Nations report on human rights in the Xinjiang region after Beijing was accused of committing serious abuse against ethnic Muslims there. Colum Murphy reports on Bloomberg Television.

Are you serious? Crimes against humanity are a serious one. How can you take this so lightly? How can you ever use the word 'may' when accusing someone committing such a notorious, detestable crime? How can you establish a UN human rights abuse case against a country if your evidence is so 'wishy-washy'?

The US and its proxies never condemned themselves for the crimes against humanity. Bachelet who wrote this report is from Chile, a proxy of US and Western White supremacy in South America. Since the foundation of Chile up to the present, the indigenous, non-White population have suffered humiliation and deprivation of human rights, basic necessities, and right to work and ownership. Human rights abuses never go recognized on the native population of Chile because Chile cloaks it in the UN as a promoter of LGBTQ and Trans rights and so called environmental justice, which is hypocritical given that Chilean government since its foundation continues to extort from the indigenous in Araucania to exploit their natural resource rich lands. We never hear about this in the UN.

There's no debate whether the CCP is committing ethnic cleansing, the debate is whether countries care enough to actually sanction the world's factory.

Usually Bloomberg reports rather agnostically on ethical issues - it's good to see it acknowledging this issue.

It is a shame...that the UN chief could change her observation just before she leaves office.! One wonders what pressure she is facing from her master.

As a Chinese, I went to Xinjiang in 2021, it was beautiful, going south you would see large forests and streams, going north you would see red colored mountains, going to the cities you would see lots of food and the best and cheapest fruit in the world, the hustle and bustle of people, there was no longer the haze of terrorist attacks, wandered around for about 10 days and did not see what you call "concentration camps". Would you say again that the concentration camps are hiding?
The scary thing is that a group of people who have never even been to Xinjiang are here to comment on Xinjiang, and a group of people who do not understand what has happened in Xinjiang are boycotting Xinjiang cotton.
I don't think you guys really care about the people of Xinjiang, you only care about how to portray the CCP and China as an evil-less bully, I don't care and I don't care what you say, I just think nasty people will always be nasty and foolish people will only live in their own world.

I've made my decission years ago, avoid Chinese made product where ever possible, and flatly refuse to do any buisness with them.
