Prue's death was the most heart-wrenching moment of the show, and imo that's when it started going downhill. The media painted Shannen so poorly and a lot of ppl made her the bad guy bc Allyssa was seen as her sweetheart 'Who's The Boss' character. So sad that this happened and I hope that Shannen can find closure.

For the record, while the fault is indeed on Alyssa for what unfolded (and justifiably so), we must also not overlook the glaring fact that it was especially Brad Kern -the chief producer whom was also a central instigator behind it all as he in particular had his own agenda and plans for Charmed -which was rather void to the concept that Constance M. Burge -the mastermind behind the series, had envisioned from the very onset.

There's a reason why Charmed lost its spark after S3. When i rewatch, it's always the first three seasons. The show would've been canceled after season 1 without Shannen. I always knew Alyssa was a hypocrite. Never liked her.

The fact that shannen directed her own death scene and didn’t even know she wasn’t coming back for season 4 all of this was done during the hiatus Alyssa really irked me for doing that ultimatum and threaten to sue them

I was always a bigger fan of Holly over anyone else. Never really had an issue with Shannon or her character but I’ve read that she wanted the show continue in a darker path and with her departure, you can see that they didn’t go along with that route. The minute season 5 opened, you could feel the vibe finally flipped
That’s the main thing I miss from Shannon being on the show
