I didn't know that he was adopted! What a shame that his paternal parents never knew of his enormous success in life, wow what a tragedy. But perhaps they did know, what a mystery. My gf found out at 16 that she was adopted & it messed with her mind so much that she tried to end her life, it was so difficult for her, she tried for many years so find her Mother especially but sadly she never was able to. It is so tragic that she wasn't able to fulfill the longing she had in her heart & losing her was the hardest day of my life. I'm so glad that it didn't effect him & that he had such an extraordinary life! I will miss him & I loved, adored, admired, cherished him so very much! Thank you for sharing a part of Ray with us! A friend of mine, Wade Cummins, the first Elvis impersonator, wrote the Movie, The Identical. Wade told us that Ray said it was one of the best movies he was in. Ray did love our savior. Wade actually has a FB and has Sermons on Sundays and sings his originals and Elvis. Wade actually toured with the original Jourdiniers for 13 years and get this, my client I've had for 7 years, her Mother is from Sicily and her maiden name was Liota. Ray winked and smiled at my girlfriend in a Chinese restaurant in NJ. This was shortly after Goodfellas. He was dining with his family a couple tables over. I was mildly annoyed but no biggy. I grew up in NJ around plenty of Italians and the main thing that I noticed that stood out was he had really good blue eyes. But, so do I.
