(new to boating) my boat (170 montauk - 90hp Merc.) is on a mooring so i would have to go to the dock to hose down and flush. Does this make sense to flush the outboard if i have to then use the engine (drive) back to mooring after? or do u think flushing the engine after the boating season (new england 4months) is fine?

a 10 minute flush good lord! it only takes about 6 gallons of water to circulate the fresh water through the whole powerhead.
