Cheap Art Supply Challenge

It isn't the supplies that make the art, it is the artist.

Liqui-Mark 12 ct colored pencils (1.65)
Liqui-Mark 20 Ct Markers (2.75-- 10 was cheaper but they were sold out)
LiquiMark 16 ct watercolor (2.15)

Love this piece you drew and colored! I bought the Liqui-mark watercolors today to test them out and wanted to search for people who had used them to see how they would be (before I dove in to try them..haha!) Michael's house brand of watercolor has 36 count for 5 bucks. It surprisingly has a real hair brush that comes included and is decent. I personally don't use that shape, I use the round brush almost all the time. Are the Watercolors you bought chalky? I want to find some cheap ones that aren't
