At Twinkl, we have lots of repeating pattern activities for children to enjoy! Watch this video to see a preview of some of these, and to get ideas on ways to use and adapt them. Why not try a repeating ice cream flavours activity. You could use play dough as well as colouring the pattern sheet provided in the resource. Bead threading is an ever-popular repeating pattern activity. Thread beads onto a string, and then use this to support other maths work. Or thread onto a pipe cleaner, and make it into a bracelet! Children could make repeating patterns of shape using our worksheets, or could even use shaped objects from around the house or classroom. We have some great cut and stick repeating pattern resources too. Have fun with repeating patterns!
