Disney Princesses - STUDIO vs LIVE performances (PART 2)

So, my previous STUDIO vs LIVE performance video got quite a number of viewers (over 50k within 2 weeks!).

Overwhelmed by its progress I decided to make another video of the same concept BUT, this time instead of ENGLISH, the INTERNATIONAL Disney Princess voices shall be featured in the video.

The question remains the same - Who SLAYED the live performance, and who seemed more like a studio creation?

The last live version by Sohyang was not even a concert. She did that part spontaneously upon request at a press conference. You have to become a fan when you hear her voice in person, period.

Holy crap. I'm super impressed with how they found people in each country that conveys each princess' personality in their culture. If I weren't looking, I would've freaking thought that the Cantonese Build a Snowman, Hindi For the First Time, Korean How Far I'll Go, Vietnamese Let It Go, a few others I don't recall of the top of my head were done by the original singer! The Finnish Let It Go is also freaking amazing, and sounds really mystical cause it's a northern European language; goes extremely well with the setting.

Gianna sounds even better live, what a gorgeous voice.
Natalia has such a spectacular dreamy voice.
Joke is fantastic she was one of my favourite Christines in phantom!
Shlomit is such a gem I love her warm voice.
Ju still has a pretty voice I like her vibrato a lot.
Kata sounds even better!!
Gema's control and vibrato is great!
Edyta is FANTASTIC! I have nothing more to add she sounds gorgeous.
Alexandra (i love this song btw) already sounded so beautiful and live she sounded so raw and emotional.
Lara, Canada's gem as Esmeralda. She still kills it, she will always kill it, I love her with all my heart.
Kelly is an actual princess she sounds so sweet I am in love with her voice.
Svala has a gorgeous tone and it's even better live. BEAUTIFUL!
Shaya has a warm deep voice that makes me happy, live she sounds exactly the same! beautiful!
Ivana is the only one where I prefered the studio version.
Mari is lovely and I love her live she sounds haunting. Always love Japanese voices!
Maeva sounds great in the studio but not live (sorry)
Ray is emotional in the studio version and in the live one she blows my mind she even topped her studio performance, I have chills all over my body... beautiful.
Aishwarya is so cute! I love the live too so cute I can't even handle it!
Du'ong is so strong! She sounds even stronger live! Love her fiesty tone.
So-hyang is has a gorgeous voice omg and live she's crazy good wish she sang the entire song acapella!

Loved it because of two reasons
1. Finally got to see a compilation video of Disney princess where we had a chance to hear how the Hindi version sounds. (let it go multilingual me Sunidhi g k clip expect kiya tha par tha nahi)
2. Sohyang. She's one of my favorite Korean singer. No hate for Auli'i but I actually prefer Sohyang's version.

I'm almost legally required to say this but honestly I just love the German voice of Pocahontas so much more than basically every other one.
Both in speaking and singing. It just suits the character so well and has the right tone and color to it.

As a Czech, I must shill our version of Tangled. Locika ([lo-tzi-ka], that's what Rapunzel is called over here) is great, but our mother Gothel steals the show. She's voiced by Helena Vondráčková, an long-time Czech star singer who was in her mid-sixties when she did the role. Some people even joked that she was perfect for the role, as she's one of those celebrities who are doing what they can to keep a young image, an effort that seems increasingly silly when you're 60-70, and extremely fitting for the character of Gothel.

As for the rest, Edyta Górniak, the Polish Pocahontas, was a definite standout for me. Such a Disney voice =) And the Korean Moana belting it out at the panel at the end was something else. I've just seen Moana for the first time last week, so that hit me hard.

Joke, Alexandra, Lara, Kelly, Svala, Shaya, Mari, Maeva, and Ray are my favorites. Although Vietnamese Elsa sounds awesome in the live. And I will also give some love to So-Hyang Kim, because Moana voices are hard for me to judge.

All these queens slayed their studio version for me, I'm a big fan of all these girls, even of the least popular ones like Ju Cassou and Aishwarya Majmudar! And in general, their live performance are as good as their studio version for me.

It's funny to see Natalia acting as Cinderella! Shlomit is just amazing, I can't believe she's in her mid-sixties. Janza Kata sounds way more involved live for me! Ray Liu and Shaya's vibrato are as pleasant in both live and studio versions. Svala sounds as GORGEOUS as always, twenty years after. Gosh Lara <3 So-Hyang, Ivana and Duonng Hoàng Yen sound as amazing as always! I can't decide if I like more Kelly's live, pop or studio Reflection, three different styles, but they all fit the song perfectly!

The only live versions I don't fancy that much are Ju and Maeva's.

I'm glad you've decided to keep the editing, I reaaaally like it ❤ A pleasure to watch, as always!
