The Modern Plus features a roasted maple neck with pau ferro or maple fingerboard. The Modern Plus retains many of the original specifications of the Modern Pro including the sleek elliptical neck profile, balanced asymmetrical body, innovative neck heel and stunning flame maple top. Proprietary Suhr locking tuners and 2-Post tremolo provides superior tuning stability.

These are tone monsters. Very bright guitars but balanced. I have the Bengal Burst but I am really wanting this charcoal finish. Absolutely beautiful .if the used market was not so down I would sell mine just to get this finish. I got a great price (2900) American on a mint condition used from a shop in Ohio. Mine has the pau ferro fret board

Beautiful. Looks very similar with very similar features to my HB Fusion III....but the flamed maple top on my Fusion is a veneer I know, then again the roasted, flamed maple fretboard and neck on the HB is truly beautiful and astounding on a guitar that is literally 20% of the cost (even with upgraded P'ups) of any Suhr.

Don't get me wrong... I def. jones for a Suhr ;-) but i'm pretty doggone stoked with my Fusion ;-)
