For those who don't know, Yourself is not an evil or stalker-ish version of bf. He's a version of bf who lost gf (know as Herself) in an accident of which we have no idea what could be. His sang words are not for bf but for her.

The lyrics at 4:50 add an interesting element to the "dark reflection" aspect of 'Yourself'.
It seems to be referencing how Boyfriend looks so confident all the time - he smirks at his opponent for the whole song, even here. 'Yourself' clearly lacks that same confidence, hence he has to scream for validation in his lyrics.

With the context in hand, I see this whole bizarre battle as Yourself warning BF to never take for granted GF, or else he’ll lose her like they did Herself. Because once they get to the lyrics, I felt the absolute sadness and desperation the doppelgänger was pouring out. It wasn’t toward BF, but to Herself (and the original creator, may he rest in peace). But that’s all just my POV.

I honestly love how he says, "Oh yeah, Haha." When turning back to normal. Literally, the phrase bf uses a bunch in mods sometimes. Plus he even did the peace sign whilst transforming back.

In the lyrics part, when yourself says "just long" You can hear his voice go from a high note BUT that's actually "herself" That's singing with him, and the red thing that appeared for a second is "herself".

4:50 i honestly cannot stop watching this one part, the effort done in this part, the lyrics, the animation, the effects, can't forget to credit the coders for implementing this into the game. holy damn it's like something you'd hear our of a guilty gear, or a metal gear rising soundtrack. his voice sounds so desperate, like he's really singing his GOD DAMN SOUL OUT

edit: I'd also like to add something. I didn't read much into Yourself's lore but correct me if I'm wrong.

Within the lyrics, it's like Yourself is telling BF about his story and how he's going without the presence of GF. Like he's telling BF to be proud of him for getting this far without GF because he probably knows and is warning BF about the dangers of losing her.

"Stay awake, just long enough to see my way." Yourself probably telling BF how he's striving without his GF lol

4:51 call me dramatic but I wanted to bawl my eyes out when he screamed proud cause DANG. You can hear his saddens and hurt just through the word. And not only that the “long enough” line shows how broken he is. The drums and the beat mixing with his voice with GF’s background vocals is just the cherry onto of this beautiful sundae. Even if this is a silly little mod to others. That line hits oddly home if you truly love music and emotions that come from them. Cause I am still listening to this crap on repeat- like I don’t really fw fnf anymore but DANG THIS HAS ME WANTING TO CRY SING THIS PART-

This is the peak of fnf. I genuinely can not see something better than this. The song, lyrics, sprites, animation, every last bit. The perfect mod in my opinion, definitely in my top 5.
