Google Maps or Apple Maps? #shorts

Apple Maps still has no bicycle route feature outside of very few US cities. I live in England and need the bicycle route feature.

I have iphone but i only use Apple maps for walking. I use waze while driving because it’s simpler and understandable to use😅

I’ve done several tests with my siblings testing Apple Maps vs Google Maps during road trips and Google Maps wins every time. They give more accurate arrival times, reroute better to avoid traffic, and shows local restaurants within the app along with reviews so we know which one to choose.

Every time I’m with my friend’s mom that used google maps we get lost but when we use Apple Maps we don’t get lost 😂

All I know is google maps has taken me to closed roads, wrong locations, and down bridges. And Apple Maps warns me of crashes, re routes for better traffic, only took me down one closed road ever, always gets me to my destination, has great biking and walking directions, tells me what lane to be in, and tells people when I’ll arrive. And also conveniently warns me of speeding cameras, red light cameras, cops, and traffic.

Apple maps is great in the city and google maps is great for more rural areas.

I would trust the company's mapping app, who actually drives cars around that map out the entire road system across the country, over the company who's main focus is now just making simple and clean products.

One of the sole reasons is due to Google’s advantage as a data company above everything. Compared to Apple, Google always has more data about everything, leading to mapping and routing being way more accurate and efficient because there’s always more reliable data at hand from Google.

I’ve personally never had any problems with Apple Maps, but maybe it’s because I live in a big American city.
