Ah, I didn't know you could add a key in the attributes array even if it's only defined on the view and not the model, that solved some issues that had me scratching my head, thanks a lot!

Great video thank you very much! I've got a question: now you have an attribute on branches (company_id) and the view show the company_name instead of the company_id. How can we sort another columns (i.e. company address) of an attributes from Campanies table to Branches view? Both attributes of Companies table which are show in Branches view are related to the same attribute of the Branches table (company_id). Thank you very much for your kind attention

hello and thankyou so much for your Yii tutorials - may i ask that you can do a video on a gridview that pulls in data from multiple tables - ie, one table has relationship with another, and using gridview, u can enter data that is saved to both tables ?
