Are Minecraft Bedrock Horror Mods ACTUALLY Scary?

Today I survived 5 nights in the Minecraft Marketplace (Bedrock) addon/mod named 'Horror Survival', does the name live up to the hype?

Do you have any major horror mods you recommend? I’m making more videos on this topic! Also to clarify a pretty important detail- this is a paid mod being at 6 dollars- so if that’s a factor for you picking your mod to play, that’s completely fair- also, to answer the question *is it scary*? This mod has some pretty crazy adrenaline moments but overall you do get used to the monsters after the first few nights- but the mobs themselves are very well designed. I wouldn’t say it’s essentially scary but it does a good job of keeping you on your toes. Subscribe and like for more

Horror mods need to make their mobs spawn more rarely. It's not even remotely scary if you get surrounded by "horror" mobs wherever you go, it ruins the mystery behind it.

As a bedrock horror mods player, I can say that this mod should not represent all bedrock horror mods. This one only spawns mosters that are basically just bigger faster zombies. I recommend the dwellers mod on the marketplace. It has less monsters, but each one is different and have amazing scary abilities.

I really wish the marketplace had genuine horror mods like scp or the old Minecraft slenderman mod like on java. We Console players are really missing out

The main problem I found with this addon is that the mobs have too good drops, spawn too frequently, and aren't particularly strong, this creates a problem where once you realize this they stop being something you avoid and start being something ya hunt

Bedrock creators are like crazy making their horror mod as powerful and scary is horrifing.I am not talking about marketplace because I don't like it.But creators like bendythedemon18, adam taylor etc are making nightmares.also adam taylor quitted.

I see this a lot but most Youtubers that played Java always get the worst horror mods in the marketplace and then say that it’s not scary. How about you do a little bit of research about the mod first so you aren’t just wasting your money although you’re probably just doing this to entertain a bunch of little kids with no brain cells if you want an actually scary mod download the dwellers mod it’s the most scary one out there in the market place.

As a tip for anyone who plays with this mod. Build a base up in the sky with a ladder going up to it. The creatures are unable to reach you that way.

I got a dweller mod on my Xbox and for bedrock there surprisingly extremely fun

A bad thing he did is calling the Horror Survival about horror, it’s to survive, and it’s not the same level as the Dwellers addon or the other addons like the Cave Dweller, this Addon is ok, not the best but it is good, most of these addons aren’t actually “Horror” but more like an experience, like the Cave Dweller addon, it’s about horror, you don’t expect it, but can appear any moment in the caves, but the Horror Survival addon and the Dwellers addons are about survival, and about a tense feeling, but tbh I do really like these addons, they are pretty cool and have a good quality.


I rate the addon 9.0/10, solid and nice.

fun fact dont run this with realism Packs and Shaders and The relight shaders all at once i was having texture issies with floating animals and creature not Loading in all the way to even have monsters Shiw Black Loading Parts its not workable with certain Mods
