Just started my first job as a remote dev a few months ago. I think when it comes for a Junior developer working remote, it’s tough at first. But in my experience, having mentorship has been amazing. My team has been very helpful and very understanding coming into this job and I’ve learned a lot. I’m feeling much more comfortable working on my own now. So in my opinion, if your team doesn’t try to give mentorship/help you learn, then it doesn’t sound like a good team to me. But maybe I’m just lucky, because I really can’t speak for all the other remote jobs out there.
