A bit on Fertilizer numbers: 10-10-10 is 10x stronger than 1-1-1 fertilizer but consider you are diluting fertilizers with 'higher' numbers. ALWAYS follow the instructions on the box closely to avoid over fertilizing your plants.

YES....looking for info on fertilizing and I'm SO glad I found a specified video by one of my favorite plant YouTubers. I keep my plant water in a big hug, already conditioned, and have wanted to try ALWAYS adding a small dose of fertilizer rather than a full feeding every few weeks. I've heard of people "micro feeding?" I think? And it seems more efficient. Also, I use a special succulent fertilizer for my few succulents and wonder if feeding like that would be beneficial to them as well.

Thanks for this video. I opted for the MiracleGro Tropical Houseplant Food in the liquid pump bottle. I use 4 pumps per 1 L as it says in the instructions and just use that every time I water my plants. New follower and subscriber here! Thanks for your content.

Do you flush your soil with water? I've heard that some people flush to remove salt, but I don't know if it needs to be done or how often. I'm still learning, so any information would be appreciated.

I have learned so much from watching your videos!! Especially things that I am not doing correctly for my Monsteras. I was that “stick a moss pole in the center” type of plant parent until I learned better! So about fertilizing, do you have a recommendation for a good fertilizer for Monstera? Mine are slow growing and I realized my pots are too big, probably getting over watered, not tied down and supported properly. So I am changing my ways and will be correcting them. I want to start fertilizing a little down the line once they’re dialed in. Just curious on what and how often. Thank you!

I just got Neptune’s Harvest 2-3-1, I noticed you have the 001… with the version I have, will I be okay to use that on all my plants? I have pothos, snake plants, spider plants, philodendrons, monstera, areca palm, rubber tree, alocasia, zebra plant… etc. any plant I shouldn’t use fish fertilizer on?

i have a plant that needs a realy special kind of fertilizer, Nepenthes alata its a bugeating plant it dosn´t take fertilizer at all because it gets its nutrients from dissolving insects inside its leave cups, its tempting to trow bugs into the cups wich is ok if there are no bugs in your home but if you overdoo it the cup might start to rot or the plant trows it off because its too much

I have tried the sticks on a plant that lived for 7yrs but I may try those other types from Miracle Grow this time around. Nothing still beats direct sunlight outside 3-5xs a full week if you can remember to sit it out facing east in the mornings or West in the afternoons. 😊 Nice video... 👍🪴😸
