I had a dirty bit, auto chkdsk wasn't working on bootup, just restarted in safe mode, it did the auto chkdsk and rebooted and everything worked. Takes 10 seconds.

Wonderful solution. Your video made my day and fixed the dirty bit for my c: drive. Thank you so much.
Just an additional tip for everyone:
When you are booting from a recovery drive (USB), your drive letter for Windows (c:) may change and it will be something other than c:, it happened in my case. Do the following to find out the exact drive letter:
1. When you are in the command prompt from the recovery drive, run:
a) diskpart
b) list volume
It will show the drive letters. You can recognize the drive letter of your Windows boot drive or the faulty drive. In my case, it was e:
2. Now exit from diskpart. Run:
a) exit
3. Now run the command this video says: chkdsk <your drive letter>: /f. For example, in my case: chkdsk e: /f

My dirty bit problem was fixed and fsutil showed no dirty error. Also, I checked it from properties/tools/error checking and there were no errors. Thanks again.

Beautiful solution. This fixed my dirty bit problem without complaints. I want to echo the person below about making sure you use diskpart to check which drive letter is which while you’re booted in recovery mode.

I've completed all this, but, it shows C drive is not dirty when I check it from the recovery drive. But when I boot normally to Windows and then check, it says C is dirty. I don't understand the reason behind this. Can you please help me out?

Okay this video helped me do it, for me when in the command prompt I typed "chkdsk /r" and that ran the process for me and check everything.

Before actually going through all these steps, first and foremost make sure your physical wiring is connected well (e.g. cables are tightly attached properly, from the PSU, drives, no loose cables). This tutorial is also helpful, I also went through the process and it all worked out for me. Hopefully I could save some people from all the hassle! Don't forget to make sure your cables are well connected! 😆
