Best use of the ring modulation is for audio degrading! Specially if you use white noise, you can get really sweet noise into your sounds.

Ah, the classic DSB-SC modulation! I once created one using a diode bridge and two audio transformers. Was quite crude, but did the job! This was for broadcasting in FM stereo, though, using a 38kHz subcarrier for modulating the side channel.

I love this channel and all the helpful videos, but I’d like to respectfully clarify a mix-up. The carrier “carries” the modulation, which would be your voice in this short. The modulator used to actually be called the “program” because it programs the changes in the carrier.
