Through this powerful video, we are sharing a glimpse of where your United Way is heading. We have spent the last three years with our boots on the ground listening and learning about where our communities are leaning on us to be the catalyst for change in the coming months and years. When we began planning for the next five years, our conversations with community members and leaders, and our data-driven research helped us recognize the need for innovative and comprehensive solutions as critical to attaining equity.

The recent events put a spotlight on the health care disparities and racial inequalities in our region and throughout the country that existed long before the current pandemics of racism and COVID-19. These issues have confirmed that we are on the right path and provided more reason for United Way NCA to move forward with our next five-year strategic programmatic direction.

Over the next five years, your United Way will introduce integrated, bold new steps in reducing disparities and increasing equity for the health, education, and economic opportunity of every person in our community.
