Tony visited my small hometown in Texas while he was researching his last book. I was only around him for a few hours but he left a deep impression. Everything Geraldine said was true. He was highly intelligent, brilliant, kind, and curious. And while not talking about his research, he was talking about his beautiful family. I could tell that they all loved each other immensely. His loss was a shock. He was a truly beautiful person. May he continue to Rest In Peace.

Thoroughly enjoyed Geraldine's "Horse"...the horse racing excitement, the history lessons, the science lessons, the incredible characters...you will be accessing your Kindle dictionary for the meaning of numerous 19th century words. Thank you Ms. Brooks for this breathtaking work of art...truly a shining accomplishment.

I had a half quarterhorse filly born 1970..and following her pedigree online, I found all kinds of thoroughbreds, including Lexington.
