Search by Image

Now you can use an image instead of words to start your Google search.

You most likely think of searching on Google with words, but did you know that you can search via picture on Google Images? Since we know that the images you want to search with come from different places on the web and your computer, there are four ways to Search by Image:
1. If you have an image you've found on the web or your computer, drag and drop an image into the search box.
2. When you have an image saved to your computer, click the camera icon, select “Upload an image” and pick the image you'd like to use.
3. Say you see an image on the web and you want to know more. Just right-click the image to copy the URL. On Google Images, click the camera icon and “Paste image URL.”

1 year back while searching I was thinking to search image by using image.. glad to know. Now it's is very much possible.. :)

They've since disabled "turn-off safe search", so every image search is filtered and They took away the ability to "search by image" from the image results when you select an image.

My goodness, this is an amazing technology Google has developed. I love how Google is trying to be advancing forward by new technology such as their Transcribe Audio function. The samples work as intended but using more original content than the examples, it doesn't quite reach the best thing. Now, Google's technology using voices or now images and trying to decide what it is is still very early in progress. I bet this will be improved later on, but for now a great machine deciding tool.
