Use Android As Secondary Monitor In Linux In One Click | Xorg | Hax Guru

Do you want to use your android phone/tablet as a monitor in your Linux PC? If yes, you have come to the right place! In this video, you will learn how to do the same in just a few clicks! Please note that this will only work on Xorg and not wayland!

Steps:
1) Connect your android device via usb and enable USB-Debugging (enable usb tethering for faster performance)
2) Download and run the script
3) Enter your android's height, width and refresh rate
4) Enter your desired position for your new screen (left, right, top, bottom)
5) Choose a password so that no one else can connect to your PC.
6) Run "Start VNC" and open bVNC in your android.
7) Enter your IP Address, port and vnc password. (Provided by a notification)
8) Zoom in and set the scale to "One to One".
9) Enjoy :)

Hey, so I got an error saying that its unable to locate both android-tools and net-tool so I downloaded them manually.
the error is because both of the download names are wrong, I fixed this with:

sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb
sudo apt-get install net-tools

Now I am able to get the connection address. But I still seem to be unable to connect. the vnc app on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ running Android 11 appears to give me an error along the lines of that it isn't able to connect to the port.

Hey, I have 2 monitors already and was looking at this to get use out of my Samsung Galaxy Tab A, and everything worked great except, when connecting on VNC it just displayed my second monitor on my tablet.

Is there anyway to create a 3rd output display for this and display that to my tablet?

There are some bugs like the screen does not go cleanly to the phone. I can see residual images.
Also you are giving the docker server ip instead of the local private ip, I had to do ifconfig to find mine.
