Unstuffing everything! I actually filmed this at the beginning of July and have even more updates to share with you guys very soon. So many exciting changes, all for the better. Thank you all for sticking it out with me during this slump of a year. I have high hopes for all things good for the end of this year and the start of the next. This video we are going to unstuff everything and chat through some hiccups of the move, some debt that was acquired, and my plans to move again. (And why I'm moving again.) It's a long and chatty one so grab a coffee and lets hang out! =)

Happy budgeting! With Love, Jordan

Jordan, why not rent the Duplex? It could possibly add some stability and diversity to your income. Once it's rented, the rent would count toward your income in qualifying for the next house. Even if it doesn't cash flow a ton, you're building equity with every month and it's appreciating.

❤❤❤❤ I recently had to pull all our sinking fund money too in order to pay our rent/bills. It was hard and disappointing to do, however I’m grateful it was saved up. Cause we don’t want or need to be homeless, adulting can be hard, but we will bounce back soon. We are going through a really rough time right now and can’t move like we been working towards, not yet, life happens. Wishing yall well. 🙌

I wouldn’t sell the duplex! I would rent it out and use the money to cover the mortgage on the duplex and the mortgage on the new property. Plus the potential rental income will help you qualify for more land

What you need to do is get one of those really nice sheds from either Home Depot or Lowe’s! When I moved to my forever home, hopefully my next move lol, I plan to do this then you can actually get one with built-in electrical that way you can run it as your YouTube studio and also you’re Etsy Shop and storage center! It would be cool to do that and be able to leave the doors open while the boys are running around and playing in the backyard and you can keep your eyes on them! I plan to do this myself when I finally get to my forever home I plan to add a carpet into the Shed And be able to put my YouTube studio on one side at the shop on the other side and make it super organized with my industrial shelves that will hold the bins that actually have my overflow items! It’ll be a really cool idea if you ever thought about doing it I definitely will be in the sheds are not the metal type. These are the wooden ones I used to have a 10 x 20 I should’ve kept a hold of it, but I didn’t. I got rid of it. It was absolutely immaculate and beautiful on the inside and I had a ladder that left all the way up to a loft, so that’s probably what I’ll be getting in the future from the outside. It looked really cool, red bar looking like with a black roof and then it had a ramp that was wooden that led into the double open door shed barn style doors. It was an absolutely beautiful she

I don't have tips on moving but tips with land. When you find land and if you are going to build or do a garden or anything. My tip is to live on the property at least for one year and through ALLL of the seasons BEFORE you do anything. So that you can see your property in all forms. If you have any flood spots you don't want to learn AFTER you build a playground, shed, garden, or whatever, and now what you just built is flooded. Where your sunny spots are or certain trees that may drop certain things like spiky ball seeds or those helicopter seeds or whatever. If you go as far as getting like chickens you don't want to build their coop in bad areas on the property. If you do go as far as wanting to get live stock build the enclosure first. If you do want a garden, I would suggest building the fence around the area that you want before you start growing a garden or even before you start to get livestock. You don't want to come out to your garden and find your chickens pecking at your veggies. or even wildlife. When you do a garden put a tarp/weed barrier down in the entire area to kill the grass and weeds even where the fence is going to be. No matter if you're going to do an inground garden or garden beds, extend the tarp/ weed barrier a few feet out and make a flower bed around the outside of the garden fence. That way you're not fighting with weeds growing from under your fence and with the flowers you are inviting pollinators to help with your garden. I live on rental property and I can't do what I suggest so I am fighting weeds on my fence all year round and weed vines growing on my fence and everything it is a pain in the butt. I would also invest in good quality stuff where you can. Like, a weed barrier. Last year I got a cheap weed barrier and the stuff didn't last me through the season. Over the winter I stocked up on the really nice stuff and I am loving it. I hope this helps in some form no matter what your plans are for getting property.

I love your conversations! We have similar thought processes. Sometimes, the only way you can resolve your problems is by discussing it. Glad we could be here to listen.

I’ve been here for a good long time. Life happens we just went through a hurricane here in Houston and it messed up our budget majorly! Somehow we make it and will catch up again. Just keep going and do your best in the season you are in.

If you know you are moving to a new area, if you can, try and take a one week vacation to the area you are going to be living that way you will know if you like the area. Hope that helps 😊

I related so much with you. I had to take some debt due to a moving situation too. I am also struggling to discover how to get back in track! But things will work out for both of us!

Glad overall, you all are doing well. You'll bounce back. You're the comeback kid. This is minor and THANK GOODNESS you had it to pull. You'll come back better than ever.

We moved 11 years ago to Texas from AR. We knew it wasn't forever. I'd want to move back to Arkansas. We were there almost two years and started looking to buy maybe. Houses weren't on the market long to even drive by, look, and maybe look at it. I finally had the opportunity to move back to Arkansas (different area I was from, but hey, it's AR!). We did buy, which was the right thing. 9 years later, loving the house, 2 kids, same dog. We know we will not be here forever (Methodist's pastor family). If we do move again, we might not buy as long as the housing allowance can cover the rent since we never do know when we'll move again.

I completely understand about wanting a yard! I have a small yard and would love something larger outside of town and have an actual workshop! Good luck on the house hunting! So glad that you're all moving as a family!

I had to pull from my savings at the beginning of March. So thankful I had to 800 to pull from. Now I have to get back into the swing of things and start saving again.

When my husband’s company moved us to TX a few years ago I am thankful we rented and did not buy. Little did we know they turned around and moved us right back 11 months later. Selling both times would have been a nightmare. We rented two houses in our current area before we bought this time. That was a good thing because I don’t know we would have truly known what we would need when we moved back the first time.
