I once got pretty far in a solo run of Rimworld. Then my character got hit by a meteor. Yes, they can hit and kill colonists. I miss Ricky.

I swear to god, Once I had a transport pod crash containing a woman who happened to be the mother of one of my colonists, the transport pod landed on the daughter, killing her instantly. SECONDS later (before I’d even had a chance to understand what had just happened) the mother romances the daughter’s widower and they start a relationship immediately.

I had a spacefight right above my base once. Everyone was gathered for a party in the yard.
I never saw anyone die to falling chunks... never until this day...
Oh the humanity! It was a bloodbath. Bodys everywhere. The prospering society I had build went from more than 15 people to just 3, one of which got later crushed by a falling gold meteor.
I dont know what they ever did to deserve that... besides the raiding ... and the murder ...and the arson ... and slavery ... and the... you get what I`m trying to say: They realy werent bad people.

My first ever colony made it 4 days, on the fourth day a meteor hit the barracks, killing two on impact, and the third bled out over the course of the next day. Man in black arrived and was incapable of medicine to help, had a mental break down from all the death, and gave up and returned to the wild... been hooked ever since.

Ill never forget a colony I started when I was at around 2, 400 hours cumulative in Rimworld. Off rip, they died by a meteor of slate. All three crashlanders. As soon as their drop pods hit the ground, dead. It was great.

16:40 I have had a colonist killed by a reward pod -- it landed nearly on top of her, in a roofed room, and the roof collapse it caused did lethal damage to her neck, killing her instantly.

"Are some prosthetic limbs strap on?" I don't know why you wouldn't want that answered, but for everyone else... A large amount of prosthetic limbs are strap ons. A lot of the time when the entire extremity doesn't need to be amputated, strap ons can be used pretty effectively for how cheap they are. This goes for arms, legs, fingers, and wieners.

Have indeed suffered deaths to falling meteor, it crashed directly onto my very tiny base, killed 1 pawn and injured the other 2, while also destroying my entire stockpile of everything and leaving them trapped inside, needing to dig through the limestone that fell to escape.
