Arc Flash Study Data Collection

Arc Flash Studies require a large data collection effort. What is typical for data collection?

Respondent answers:
Less than 20% -- 1% or respondents
20 to 40% -- 10% of respondents
40 to 60% -- 66% of respondents
More than 60% -- 23% of respondents

So it appears that the data collection is the largest part of the Arc Flash Study effort, an overwhelming 66% of respondents state that 40 – 60% of the study is spent in collecting data.

I would think those that selected a lower percentage may use guesses and default values which isn't good practice
