man looks like FL isn't what I need to be using now, seems like I've started to advance it. I can make a melody, but I'd like it to be tied to one note, serum and other programs can do it, but they don't work as well with say ableton where you can create the melody in the piano roll and then you just have one note that plays that melody.

I'm trying hard to find out where i can, or how to do this.
