In my region, we have the tradition to it a new year's pretzel. It's a huge pretzle made of a kind of yeast dough (and without using a lye bath before baking)
Unfortunately, I haven't had it in years due to a late detected gluten allergy, and my oven isn't big enough to bake such a gigantic pretzle :((
Maybe I should start eating mochi instead xD
