#Khalasi tells the tale of the limitless sailor who has set out to explore through the shores of Gujarat. The song speaks of his tenuous, adventurous voyage, his delightful experiences and his enthusiasm with which he takes on life while he is sailing away!

Headlining the song is iconic music composer Achint Thakkar whose musical landscape tends to be inspired by the 70’s and aims to draw a narrative through his musical notes.

He is joined by famous playback singer from Gujarat, Aditya Gadhvi. Known for singing in several languages and producing numerous chart hits that were singles.

In addition to them, the song also boasts of Dhruv Visvanath, India’s premier solo percussive acoustic guitarist who also happens to be a professional singer-songwriter, and producer.

The song has a story ' A story of Haji Kasam Tari Vijali' by Gunvant Acharya....It's a beautiful and tragic folktale from Saurashtra region of Gujarat....Haji Kasam was an adventurous Khalasi a seafarer who was destined to be a successful businessman (who becomes a successful traderer in Africa) and later on his fate takes his life...This tale is also attached to a ship called 'Vijali' which got sink in the waves of Arabian sea....identically it's story is more tragic than Titanic...
