Thanks for the video, I'm sure it will help someone out there. Hopefully they will read the comments though or they may not know that you need to patiently and carefully lift the plastic cover under the stand with plastic prying tools and remove the 3 screws along the bottom.

Thank you! I needed to replace a hard drive for a friend of mine and wasn’t sure how to get this crazy thing open. I removed the hinge cover and screws on the hinge and bottom but wasn’t sure how to crack it open. You saved me a great deal of headache. Cheers!

Very helpful video thank-you. I would like to add though that there are 3 small screws on the bottom of the cover plate that need to be removed as well. Hope that helps out and thanks again.

I appreciate your making this video. It's a hell of a tight sealing system! My mother's wont power on. PSU seems fine, any ideas, or have you seen the cause? Might be willing to buy the right part from you if so.
