first of all, because of the wheel spinning at start, you loss time due to loss of traction. this implies you are not familiar in physics and a poor driver. second, you are ruining your automatic gear box. the best way to conduct this acceleration test, is directly starting the run from 0, without prior engine rpm revving (in this specific car) due to strong engine. this is done to prevent wheel spinning and the loss of traction. repeat as described here and see the difference. you should gain about 0.5-1 seconds better result, and spare your gearbox some life as a bonus.

Dude you have no idea what you are doing. Stock this car has 260ft lbs of torque at an incredibly low 1, 700RPM. With an after market tune, 300+ ft lbs easily. Need to learn how to control it.

Top speed in 1st gear is 45mph. I have a tuned 2014 Malibu Turbo with an aftermarket intake and exhaust. 0-60 mph is a little under 5.5 seconds.
