Convert time format from 12 hour to 24 hour in Excel

To convert the time format from 12-hour to 24-hour, enter the formula TEXT(A2,"[hh]:mm:ss") into a blank cell where you want to display the result. Then, drag the fill handle down to apply this formula to the desired range of cells. All times will be converted from the 12-hour format to the 24-hour format.

Conversely, to convert the time format from 24-hour to 12-hour, enter the formula =TEXT(A2,"hh:mm:ss AM/PM") into a blank cell where you want to display the result.
