Impressive Performance of Supersonic ThrustSSC - Now in Coventry Transport Museum, UK. I sat in the ThrustSSC Cockpit during construction in April 1995, with just the 1st Jet Engine installed! Such an amazing car with the original ThrustSSC Website URL still painted on the Twin Jet Engines! Awesome that the car has now held the World Land Speed Record since October 1997 for more than 26 years! Way ahead of its time! Perfect Engineering!

The world record of the SSC was 1, 227.985 km/h (763.035 mph). Not 3000Km/h as show. SSC have metal wheels and is designed to go straight only, SSC can not turn and have a parachute for break. Same for the Bugatti Bolide, his record till now is 505Km/h not 580Km/h

At 1:15, if you respect law of gravity, the SSC must fly away because its speed in relation to its weight is such that it cancels the gravitational and mass attraction that it receives from the Earth. So our car must be satelized, or at least, must be gliding
But the video is good and we realize that the SSC is fast
