Makes sense now why you opened up the software on the original. Would be nice for owners of Orba 1 to get a discount code, buying new Orba isn't on the list. Hopefully you find some people that do have it on their list, because I suspect we're mostly the same group of people.

I just wish the one I bought last November was able to be upgraded at least past the same samples that have been there all along.

So I bought an Orba through the Kickstarter campaign, waited for it forever, finally received it and then they release Orba 2, which actually has all of the things we were promised with the original purchase of the Orba? is there going to be some sort of trade-in offer or something? What am I missing?

The ORBA 2 seems to have everything that was promised on the Orba.
The Orba 1 is just a bad device.
I used it for maybe 2 weeks.
Will there be a discount for Orba owners?

I'm going to get the Orba 2 and play it while I continue playing my Orba One with the other hand! Will use two devices connected to two Orbas at the same time, too. Two too! If they update the Orba One with more functionality and sounds that would be To Too Two Totally Awsome.

Nice that they finally added Quantization. This was long promised as the "top requested item" for more than two years by Artiphon on the original Orba forum. That said, I gave up and sold my original Orba.

how about some new preset banks for the orba 1 as a compensation for the upgrade awaiting mk1 users? or maybe a software where you can edit and create patches on your own

Just got my 2nd replacement orba 2. It worked fine for one night. now its back to same crap. Loop is out of sync and wont even play back in the same time as recorded. It also wont stay connected to computer app ( winn 10 and newer laptop)all the time it just disconnects and can't use on my S22.. I want this to work so bad :) I have a recording studio and have been recording local bands for over 2 decades . I have worked with all kinds of loopers. I love that I might be able to take this out and about to tinker on....but it dose not work. I don't understand ??. I have emailed customer support but no reply from them. This is the only place I ever received any acknowledgment. I don't no what to do and I am very FRUSTRATED.. Also .... the replacement sounds like the speaker is damaged :(

Great... Now what am I supposed to do with the original Orba? I'll probably pass. The Orba frustrated me not being very musically included. Cool that they are building on the idea though. Wish they could have just updated the original one.

I was ready to pull the trigger until I saw it was only a sample player and not a recorder. Thru the phone doesn't count, as I can load up samples onto any other sample player and get similar results. Best thing you did was add quantize but even that's not enough to justify buying another Orba. I'll stick with my original for now.

Oh this will be perfect when I need more rubber duck quacks and shutter clicks in my mixes... like, who puts these demos together? Is it a goofy toy, or a legitimate instrument? Cause quacks and shutters aint selling me on legitimate music.
