WHY Should Tourists Return to SOUSSE, TUNISIA? 🇹🇳 (Sousse & El Jem)

Показать описание
Sousse سوسة is a city in Tunisia located just 140 km south of the capital Tunis.

Perhaps most famous for it's purpose built tourism area of Hammam Sousse حمام سوسة and Port El Kantaoui القنطاوي سنتر marina, tourism here was decimated by the terrorist attack in 2015 and covid more recently.

But that's the past - Sousse now has a lovely Medina and beach front but with little tourism.

Why return? This video will show you if you should include Sousse on your Tunisia itinerary.

I'll also visit El Jem, with it's incredibly preserved Roman amphitheatre - perhaps topping the Colosseum of Rome!

Chris — I came across a few of your ‘what not to do’ videos and I love what you’re doing with this channel. Among travel YouTubers you have a real talent for conveying useful information in an authentic and no nonsense sort of way. Hope to see much more!

I was in Tunisia a couple of weeks ago and really liked it.
The colosseum of El Jem was definitely the highlight ! Virtually deserted and only £3 to enter ! Amazing place !
I also visited El Jem museum which has fantastic mosaics from the old Roman city.
Looking forward to seeing more from Tunisia Chris 👍

Another great vid.. I just wanna add that you are always allowed inside a Mosque whether Muslim or not. Nobody can stop anybody from entering a Mosque.

Nice trip report. Thank you. Do you think it is OK to stay one week in El Jem or is the City too small? I don't have to do too much. I am happy to walk aound and have some nice places to find food.

I'm off to Sousse in a couple weeks and looking to make a trip to EL-Jam, so out of interest how much did the mini bus ride cost, there and back. Also do you know if there is set table of when the bus go and come back. thanks
