I'm not even posing the question "will she be playable ?" but rather "will she be a DPS, a support or both ?"

Considering we get Eepy Teri for 7.7, it's highly possible and very likely we'll get her as the 7.8 Valk, especially since 7.8 is an Anniversary Valk. But my one problem with this is that we haven't really see the main story is about, and Vita is more suited as an end of an Arc Valk like HoRb and FoV as Part 1.5's closure and also Luna as Captainverse closure. Although with this line of thinking, the only other contender for a playable Valk other than Vita is APHO Mei, although APHO is still a very long time, APHO Mei has both gameplay and design, she can also jump which is perfect for P2 combat mechanics. Dreamseeker as a Valk is not really a good choice due to the ability to switch between Male and Female version (although we know that the Female one is Canon and is similar to Wise and Belle from ZZZ where she is not a self insert character) and again the timing is not right as if Dreamseeker is going to be a Valk, it should be during the end of an arc. So the chances of Vita being the next Valk is very high.

Edit : we might get a new Divine Key too, I don't know for who tho since the timing is also match up. The close candidate is SW as if APHO Mei is playable, surely they will resurrect SW as well. HoF is very unlikely due to the fact that Lantern exist powercreeping HoF even before she got one. DW, Luna, and Thelema powercreeped BKE, HoT, and HoR respectively. SW getting a DK is also possible due to she has bosses of her own that hasn't appear anymore (Ice Clock and Ice Elysia, both can't be powercreep by Thelema due to Type Advantage and Ice Clock still needs Kira to fight the Coagulation Mechanic) and currently Lantern is having SW's remaining bosses, similar how Mobius, PE, and Herrscher Trio holding HoT's, HoR's, and HoS' bosses before they got their respective Divine Keys.

If they're not releasing Vita in her current form but instead giving her a new suit then it heavily implies that Vita will be a recurring playable character and have more battlesuits in the future

Honkai impact 3rd how to make part 1 valk relevant again

1. Make a new tier/break the ceiling
2. Make a 2 boss in abyss so part 1 Valkyries can shine alongside part 2 Valkyries ( either you add new stage in abyss for the new boss or replace the stage 2/3 for the new boss

I made this because i believe meta for Valkyries will not change so fast because theres 2 boss in abyss and im really concern for the global/sea server maybe other server as well except CN. The reason is because all of my friends quit because part 1 is over and most of them quit because how fast the powercreep for the part 1 Valkyries. imagine whaling for OG Trio, herrscher of rebirth thinking that they will last for like 2 years before they out of meta. who wouldn't get disappointed about that? Now that their boss in abyss rarely appear. Thats why i believe 2 boss in abyss will be good and powercreep will not come so fast and it might attract the old captains who quit because of how fast meta. Please make it possible if theres a survey make sure u survey this and if u have friend who play in CN server please share this to him because mihoyo only listen to their CN server. I love honkai impact 3rd and i dont want it to die. And please share this hoping that it might reach mihoyo and if u can improve what i wrote here then that would be much better because my english is not that good i hope u didnt get stroke while reading this xd.

i just won the war with the game to get both songque and the griseo outfit and was going to continue on to get the weapon for songque,
but if vita is real im going all in to get her instead. i think vita is absolutely great, while i havent completely caught up on all lore since i had to restart bc i realised the steam version of hi3 sucks, everything i do know makes them an absolute icon in my eyes so i have to. just gonna have to get that weapon another time.
