For 21 years Aaron worked with Disney helping to create some of the greatest animated films ever made. During that time he worked as an animator or supervising animator on "The Rescuers Down Under", "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "The Lion King", "Pocahontas", "Mulan" and more.

In 2003 he was co-director of "Brother Bear" for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film.

Is the character going to launch an attack ? - did his left hand just move?

What is the backstory of the model character? Is he a Shepard, a spearman, or a javelin thrower, or? Seriously, thanks for doing, narrating and sharing the excellent instructive Lightbox software tutorial and demonstration.

Cool video ! But I don't really understand how you chose what color to use for shadow ? We know what color to pick for light, the color of it. Same for ambient light, it depends on the near things reflecting it. But what about shadow ? Why did you pick a warm grey, not a cool one ? Why do you shade everything with 1 tone ? Shouldn't the "base shadow" be the local color but darkened ?
If you see that comment, I've always been struggling with these questions, so I would be so thankful for your answer !
