this story is a great example of why war sometimes saves innocent lives. the US wanted to stop saddam who was a war criminal. the same way US stopped the nazi's, or tried to install a rational govt in afghanistan. and this woman's rationale for leaking information, which went against her job, put her life at risk, the only rationale was the innocent lives of innocent iraqi's. her husband was right when he said "you've never seen war, or smelled it." war is awful. my heart breaks for all the lives lost. but sometimes war is necessary to prevent more innocent lives lost. sometimes war is necessary to defeat evil. shame on this lady. and shame on the filmmakers who tried to paint her in a heroic light. they made her into a saintly figure. she was nobody. precious information fell into her hands. and she abused this information bec of her own political beliefs. these secret organizations need to do better when hiring people. and i am not a fan of most governments which are usually corrupt or most politicians who feed you lies. but this lady katherine was no better. she had no right to do what she did. and she had idea what the real truth was, what the real motivations were. she think she's a patriot. she also wrote an article yrs later about other whistleblowers to come forward with any info about a potential war on iran. you remember iran, the same country that is currently working on its nuclear program, the same iran that funds terror organizations. katharine and people like her are irrational, impulsive, crazy.

Is it okay that the only reason I know Keira is because of this movie I am not American or British by the way and also the first time I watched this movie was two years ago but that all is okay right like I said I am not British nor American
