Darklivity is hosted by True Crime YouTuber @Kimbyrleigha & her boyfriend Jon. Kimbyr is a law school graduate with degrees in sociology and psychology. Jon is a production studio owner specializing in film, music, and content creation. Together they share a passion for bringing victims' stories to life and honoring their memories.

This channel is intended to be a place where viewers can feel like they are sitting with their friends who share a common interest in victim-focused true crime stories & join in the conversation in the comments. The set where Darklivity is filmed is a recreation of Kimbyr's bedroom from the 90s when her grandmother Fran introduced her to true crime for the first time while watching the OJ Simpson trial. I agree with your point on persistence from women vs persistence from men in the dating process. Generally (not always) people do look at persistent women as clingy red flags, but persistent men are often called charming and praised for trying to win over their love interest.
In reality, both should be seen as red flags if they are coming on too strongly to someone who is not interested.

I have heard this case a couple of times, but you guys went more in depth than anyone has and I appreciate the deep background! Love you two together!!! I feel for Dave, but after seeing her still hoping for more, he should have just broke it off for good. Poor guy thought that total honesty would keep her from wanting more, but he could see from her actions that she was never going to be satisfied with what he was willing to give. Unfortunately, a lot of women can’t do the casual sex thing without getting their feelings involved and there are so many rom-cons and stories that have the main premise as a woman’s persistence finally breaking through to a man’s heart and changing his perspective. That rarely happens in true life!
