Intro to Projectors for Sewing

Projectors can be a great way to simplify your sewing practice, as you no longer have to print out and tape together your digital sewing patterns! Ellie and Mac has started to update all of our patterns with files that are perfect for use with projectors, with heavier line weights, uniform pattern piece directions, and increased font sizes! This video will walk through projector basics, calibration, and how to use the files.

I can’t thank you enough for this video! I came looking to find out if i could use my aaxa pico projector (that i bought about 5 years ago) for sewing and low and behold you have the same projector so i got all my questions answered! I’ve ordered the same ceiling mount. Great video!

How do cut dark colored fabrics with the projector, without have to draw them on medical paper first

I could also see using this to trace on paper for a better fit before fabric. Then you can slice/dice, etc and make changes.

I need help. I finally got my projector to work on my iPad using a Chromecast. I have no problem projecting tv shows and movies but i cant seen to do so with my files. So i need a special app? All of my patters are saves on to my files, but I don’t have an option to cast to Chromecast. HELP!!!!
