1. Why do some of the pieces spin clockwise and others counterclockwise?

2. Is there a pattern to the directions of rotation of the pasta pieces?

3. Is there an upper bound to the number of pieces the pasta can break into when you snap it?

4. What effect would using thinner or thicker pasta have on the rotational speed of the spinning pasta fragments?

5. Does it make a difference what kind of flour is used to make the pasta?
