The only corvette stock for stock that can beat the viper is the ZR1 and not by much. However, vipers can take more horsepower than corvettes if modified properly. That's why vipers win at drag strips against corvettes

Honestly, before the C8, this would be a battle of great V8 muscle and iconic cars. Even though im a corvette guy, well.up until 2019. I'm glad the Viper is a manual and takes skill to drive.

People dont understand transmissions makes all the difference in a race. i dont care how many HP you have if your not in the power band. The Vett is a better car in terms of being in the sweet spot. The viper on the other hand is literally a beast and requires Driver to car experience.
