The Basics of Using Postman for API Testing

Postman is a great tool for testing APIs. Wether you are writing the client-side or server-side of an API, use Postman to test that your API is accepting and responding with the appropriate Headers, Methods, and Data.

You can download and install the Postman application directly on Windows, OSX and Linux OR you can install and use the Chrome Extension version.

Why do people start the tutorial in postman assuming that you know how to enter in tha window?. It is not the default window, it is not the "main menu" of postman, and I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks for creating the video. My feedback is that the gain on your microphone is turned up so high that we hear too much ambient sound and barely hear you. I have to seek out a clearer audio. Thanks anyway.

what scripting language is required to get good command on postman tool, ?i heard it's java script but not sure it's client or server side java script. are they different, if so by how? any differences in their syntax's..etc
