I went to school with Joel. It was in grade school when he moved to Ashwaubenon, WI. He was a ventriloquist and magician at that time. I was inspired to ask for a ventriloquist doll for Christmas because of him. I had him in High School art class where I could see his amazing creations. He once called me the "Excitable Girl". I have no idea why....lol. A Truly Good Guy.

I just watched an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (Jerry Seinfeld) on Netflix, and the guest was Joel Hodgson. I didn't realize he had a background in standup. He's really funny.

I love how he even did the Rock Em Sock Em Robots bit here with that guy who said snake. I heard about that bit in interviews but I had no idea he did it on TV
