Sharath tried his best in game 3. After that ig he got tired and wasn't that quick. Anyways great achievement to win a game from the best player.
Unfortunately the non medal prospects are the ones exceeding our expectations. Hopefully sindhu, hockey team and wrestlers will change that.

That was some serious skill shown by Sharath. Despite Table Tennis not being so popular sport in India, I am amazed by looking at the pool of talents we have. Just imagine if we educate our school kids to play such sports and invest in more other ways at the grass-roots level, then we too will dominate the world just like how China has achieved over the past decade or so.
