Movie Duels is a remastered edition of the original, 2009 “Movie Duels 2” mod for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, with updated maps, models, sounds and various other improvements, to bring the mod into the modern age.

I love how the good old Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast are both getting picked back up after all these years. This game series age like wine.

Never thought I would still be playing this game as well as both KOTOR's in 2024, when both were some of the first games I ever played on the original xbox. Yet here we are, enjoying old games with new life breathed into them. So many games have come out since then yet these star wars classics still cannot be beat. Thank you for helping keep the classics alive.

I can’t get the Jedi Outcast addon to work, I put the 0-assets in the base folder and put the r_outcast addon in MD folder. But when I start the game I just get an error

default menu file not founds ul/hud txt, unable to continue!

Part one file is corrupted, tried unpack it using archive manager from linux also using terminal unzip

Hey I know this is kind of not the main place to ask, but is there any reason why certain head textures would be showing up as white? It’s mostly new textures - Anakin (new hair model clipping w/ hood or it’s completely white on certain maps) or OWK Show - Battle Damaged Vader’s head showing up as white as well. I followed this video, so I’m not sure what I did wrong or if it’s a known issue with some new textures. I did have Update 5 installed, so I wonder if that affected my installation?

Looks cool. Maybe someday I will figure out why it doesn't work though. Outcast just gets me a ui hud error after I choose the difficulty.

Hi, good, I have a problem when playing in windowed mode that makes the game not visible, only some green stripes covering everything. I appreciate the help in advance

I downloaded the 2 updates, extracted them in Gamedata folder. Whenever I start a mission, it starts loading and gives me an error in a white window ingame with no description of the error. + Many missions are shown as unavailable or coming soon. Help please

Hey not sure if I should comment here or start a new forum post on ModDB. But I installed Movie Duels just fine. Played a little of the Mustafar duel, so everything sems fine on the main install. But I tried installing Jedi Outcast and ran into an issue. I start new game and the pre rendered videos are fine, but once the in engine cutscene starts, Jan and Kyle are stood up rather than sat down. Jan says her line fine but Kyle says "Welcome to a day in the life of a jedi" which is his first line in Jedi Academy, I believe. Then I'm soft locked and the scene refuses to continue. I think I installed everything right... I followed this video. I'm also using both the steam versions of Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, so it can't be piracy issue, can it? Because it seems like a hilarius anti piracy joke... Anyway, I'll try installing everything again and see if it changes. I'd be gratful for any advice. Thank you.

edit: I knew it was going to be my own stupid fault! I checked the steps again and r_outcastaddon.pk3 was missing from my MD folder, so obviously I hadn't done everything like I thought. Sorry. Mod looks fantastic and can't wait to play. Thank you!
