friendly wild squirrel (Ophelia)

this squirrel is not my pet. she straight up followed me to my house from the woods, and now lives in the trees in my yard. it sounds crazy, but it's not unheard of for young fox squirrels to imprint on humans when young, and she was right around the age of leaving the nest when I first encountered her. i put up a little squirrel house on my deck for her to stay in at night but she moved to the trees not long afterwards. shes forages on her own but she visits nearly every day for snacks. #shorts
