They look cool. But from what I’ve seen on bladeforums they’re kind of brittle. Lots of broken blade pics posted all over on the testing sub section. I might still be interested in testing one during class when I’m teaching students. We’ll see. 1095 is good stuff. Sometimes companies harden the steal a bit too high for a longer lasting edge which in turn weakens the steel. But compared to O1, 1095 needs to be on the softer side to perform well. Keep the shorts coming!
