2023 Lexus RX: First Look (Up-Close Details)

We take our first look at the new 2023 Lexus RX and show you all of the most relevant details. The RX has been Lexus's best-selling model for years, and for this new generation it takes its most dramatic step forward ever.

With four new powertrains and several hybrid options, the RX is more diverse than ever. There is also a new 500h F-Performance model, which brings a more aggressive look and feel to the crossover, which has historically been more restrained.

I LOVE this car- finally.... I have a 2011 Lexus RX 450H (that still runs perfectly) and can't wait to but this new model. If any of your readers haven't owned a Lexus, I highly recommend. Thanks for the exceptional review!

The front end design is more Jspec/JDM look which is a nice aggressive change that convinced me to be buying the 500h later this year.

I own two RX 350Ls. I am a fan of Lexus. But I am not a fan of the 2023 RX350 front grill. And replacing the naturally aspirated V6 that takes regular gas with a 4 cylinder tubo that takes premium gas is not a good move. And the 4 cyl is lower horsepower and opens up the possibility of turbo lag on heavy acceleration. I will be keeping my current RX 350Ls for now. Glad I have them.

I've been car shopping for the last year. Lexus SUVs didn't even get my attention..until NOW! There are some seriously strong opinions about the new design. I happen to 💗it! I know that the new grille hasn't been popular, but none of their grilles are great. After watching so many videos, I like it more than the previous grilles. I also like the re-design. Idk yet. Im in for an RX regardless but not sure wether to get last years 6 cylinder engine which has a known track record. We do plan to keep it for the long haul. Decisions, decisions.
