Thank you for the reviews...it's adorable. Don't know your ages but do you remember 'Zip' the monkey from late 1960s or early 1970s. He wore red overalls & a yellow shirt, his name was embroidered on the front of his overalls. This brought back wonderful memories ❤😂 9:59

Thanks for the video, which I found as I was looking for a demo of the Peanut monkey, in Argos for £80. Instead, I've just ordered the Cuddles giggle monkey instead - great second hand condition on eBay for under £20.

Cuddles can never be topped imo. Peanut comes the closest out of the three, but Cuddles has qualities that the new monkeys don't even come close to having. She feels more lifelike on many accounts, from her movements to her interactivity. She may not have acrobatic skills like Peanut or games to play like the Fingerlings monkey (she also does not react to sound like you said, she just moves about randomly), but she doesn't need any of those things. All she needs is a tilt of the head, a blink of the eyes, and the softest, sweetest voice to ever come out of a toy to win my heart.

I put (personally) from best to least - Ellie may, mango, peanut and then the fingerling one.

The older Fingerlings plush monkeys had soft faces and hands and feet, but had sleep eyes. They had a switch in the ear to turn it on and off (not sure why the newer one didn't get such a useful thing). There was also a unicorn version.
