Only 10 minutes in and I'm so happy and grateful to be hearing this interview, where you both are talking openly about God. It's so refreshing. I'm in Australia and God isn't someone who's talked about publicly much, outside of believer circles. So thank you! So refreshing.

I don't even know where to begin with Part 2. The richness of the conversion was off the charts. I think I could write a book on all the notes I took that pierced my heart. From knowing (your intuition), to staying open to the answer when it comes, to being responsive, doing the work, and the feeling of the whisper. And the possibilities are unlimited. And intention and knowing the why and being aligned with your why...wow! I think I'm going to find the book, Seat of the Soul. It made me wonder how in tune we are with our intentions. Or how I am in tune with my own. We are born with a purpose and calling but it's not all about you. We surrender and we serve. It is an offering. But we can't do that unless we truly know who we are and that we have value and worth. Something I will sit with for a while is when Oprah said, "There's a difference in what you're presenting versus what you really are.

Oprah changed my life about 15 years ago. She had a guest on her show talking to her about her ancestry. I do not remember the date or his name, but at one point Oprah just by divine coincidence mentioned as an aside, that white people whose ancestors never had slaves do not need to feel guilty. Growing up in the south that had never occurred to me. I was in my late 40's and had felt guilty all my life about that handful (compared to all the poor whites and white slaves and non racist southerners of history) of privileged southern whites who had instituted slavery in the US. It set me free. At a very young age my father instilled in me how awful racism is. I am so thankful for that and wonderful parents! He was full blooded Italian and my mom German/ Czechoslovakian. Their parents were immigrants. Thank you for that one moment in time Oprah!!!
